Acid Test
Exhibition — 2025

Client: Museum of Applied Colour · Role: Exhibition identity, catalogue · Output: Identity, wayfinding, 180pp catalogue
A show about colour, printed in the colours it argues with. Acid Test surveyed a century of pigment disputes — which reds fade, which blues lie — and the identity refuses to arbitrate: every application is printed twice, once in each contested colour, and hung, stacked or bound so both are always visible.
The wayfinding takes sides room by room, switching allegiance at every threshold, so visitors physically walk through the argument.

The catalogue is two books glued back to back, one per colour position, meeting at a centre signature printed in both — the only spread where the inks are allowed to mix.
