A display face drawn for signage first, screens second. Pulse began as a commission for a hospital wayfinding system — letters that stay legible through steam, distance and hurry — and grew into a six-weight display family whose variable axis is literally called Urgency.

At low Urgency the forms are round and unhurried; push the axis and counters open, terminals square off, and the whole alphabet leans forward by degrees.

The specimen site is a waiting room: type samples arrive on a schedule, and the only way to see the top weight is to let the page keep you waiting.
